🌸 Sonnet 18: Shall I Compare Thee to a Summer’s Day?

🔶Quatrain 1:
Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?
(আমি কি তোমার তুলনা একটি গ্রীষ্মের দিনের সাথে করতে পারি?)
Thou art more lovely and more temperate:

Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,

And summer’s lease hath all too short a date:

🔶Quatrain 2:
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
(কখনও কখনও আকাশের চোখ, সূর্য, অতিমাত্রায় তাপে জ্বলে,)
And often is his gold complexion dimm'd;
(এবং প্রায়ই তার সোনালি মুখমণ্ডল মলিন হয়ে যায়।)
And every fair from fair sometime declines,

By chance or nature’s changing course untrimm’d;

But thy eternal summer shall not fade

Nor lose possession of that fair thou owest;
(না হারাবে সেই সৌন্দর্য যা তোমার নিজস্ব,)
Nor shall Death brag thou wanderest in his shade,
(মৃত্যুও গর্ব করতে পারবে না যে তুমি তার ছায়ায় ঘুরে বেড়াও,)
When in eternal lines to time thou growest:
(কারণ তুমি চিরন্তন কবিতার পঙক্তিতে চিরন্তন হয়ে থাকবে।)

So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
(যতদিন মানুষ শ্বাস নেবে বা চোখে দেখবে,)
